Chris Pratt Slaughtered a Lamb and the Vegans are Triggered as All Hell

Look at all this glorious food! We will eat off him for a month. His wool is becoming yarn as we speak. He lived a very good life. He was groomed and shorn, his hooves medicated, de wormed, no antibiotics necessary. Surrounded by laughing loving humans, including children to whom they provided such joy. Nuzzled, pet and loved every day. No stressful travel to his final destination. Trauma Free. Just a touch of a usda certified wand to his head and he goes to sleep. The other sheep don’t even notice. It’s like unplugging a tv. Then Wocka my butcher works his magic. Right now the meat is for friends, family and gifts. Soon though it may be available to my followers as we test recipes and open up to market. Gotta get some things dialed in first. I have found a new passion to add to my many others. #farmlife and jack loves it! You’ll know where to sprinkle my ashes. I’ll tell you that.

SourceChris Pratt has broken his one-month social media hiatus to reveal he has turned to farming in the months since his shocking split from Anna Faris last year.

But his vegan followers were far from happy to see the Guardians of the Galaxy star, 38, return to Instagram yesterday after he posted a photo of several joints of lamb meat on a kitchen counter. …

The comment has angered his vegan followers, who have accused him of ‘murdering’ the animal – and a few even compared the slaughter to the Holocaust.

Some have accused him of murder, and other blasted him as ‘arrogant’ or ‘disgusting’.

One commenter told the star: ‘This is awful. You murdered someone [referring to the lamb] and now you are bragging about it on social media.’

I’m old enough and jaded enough not to read too much into any famous person’s public persona, because we really don’t know these people. But my radar tells me Chris Pratt is a pretty good guy. The kind of guy who would be fun to hang out with. Who seems to genuinely be into the Seahawks and doing charity work and basically trying to live the life of a decent cat who just happens to be one of the hottest people in Hollywood.

And he’s finding out that is impossible. The last time Star Lord got in trouble it was for the mistake of posting a video of music in which he told his followers to “listen.” That was it. That was the hate crime. He got blasted by the SJWs for being insensitive to the hearing impaired. And for that, he apologized.

Well so far it seems like he’s learned his lesson because he’s so far not apologizing for the non-offense of believing that lamb is delicious. Of practicing agriculture. For understanding that his ancestors and ours clawed their way to the top of the food chain against all odds, stopped being nomads, worked the land, learned to domesticate wonderful, tasty animals and slaughter them for our pleasure and nutrition. For accepting the simple truth that humans are carnivores. That our eyes are on the front our heads because we are predators and lambs are on the sides because they are prey.

I mean, Pratt tried to reason with these people. Based on that description of how that lamb was treated before it took its rightful place on the dinner plate, it lived a better life than I do. Hell, I’ve had vacations that didn’t include getting nuzzled, petted and loved. But for all that, this is just some of the reaction he’s getting:

There you have it. No good deed goes unpunished. Raise a lamb for food and make food out of it and you get compared to murderers, cavemen, rapists, and maniacs who commit genocide of six million men, women and children and plunge a world into war. By emaciated, pale green, undernourished ragbags who care more about the dying thoughts of their fellow grass-eater than they care about their fellow human beings.

So hopefully Andy Dwyer will stick to his guns on this and apologize for nothing. His boss knew exactly how to handle this crowd:
